To produce credible information and research on security, political violence, civic activism, human rights violations, humanitarian efforts, strategic issues and to advocate for peacebuilding in Afghanistan.

To enhance access to credible information in Afghanistan and to promote peace through conflict resolution, media reporting, research, advocacy, accountability, and humanitarian support.

 Areas of Focus 

  • Research and reporting – Researching and reporting on political violence, civil unrest, human rights violations, women’s rights, security incidents, humanitarian efforts and armed groups.
  • Advocacy – Promoting peace, human rights, women’s rights, equality, civil liberties, co-existence, inclusivity and freedom of speech in Afghanistan.
  • Humanitarian – Monitoring and supporting humanitarian efforts on the ground in Afghanistan
