Ghor is one of the central provinces of the country, located 5 kilometers away from Kabul and neighboring Herat, Badghis, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Uruzgan, Helmand, Farah and Bamyan provinces.Ghor is a mountainous province geographically located at 31 degrees and 34 minutes north latitude and 25 degrees and 65 minutes east longitude and is 2,250 meters above sea level. Ghor province has nine administrative units including the capital which is Chaghcharan city and its districts are Tewara, Tolak, Saaghar, Pasaband, Dolina, Shahrak, Dawlatyar, Charsadda and Lalo Sar Jungle.
