BALKH: Youth hailing from various provinces on Saturday gathered in the Mazar-e-Sharif city, the capital of Balkh province, to stress that cultural and social diversity could bring peace to the country.
Attending the Watandar program organized by the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), they emphasized that coexistence was crucial for maintaining peace and stability.
Zain-ud-Din Shahidzai, General Manager of Watandar Program, said that one of the main goals of the event was to expand cultural, social, and regional diversity.
Several youths who participated in the meeting stressed that the expansion of coexistence and social diversity was conducive to the realization of peace and stability in the country.
They unanimously believed that peace in Afghanistan was one of the most important national matters that everyone in the country was striving to work for through different means.
