KABUL: Anti-Taliban forces staged a heavy attack on the Taliban police base in Versaj district of Takhar province on early Wednesday morning and fought a two-hour-long battle with Taliban forces, a reliable source said.
At least three Taliban were reportedly killed in the attack, but casualties could be more as the Taliban often conceal figures.
